Stop violence against Women! Donate to restore a Clitoris!

Outubro 02 2011, : Clitoraid NEWS
The United Nations General Assembly has designated 25 November as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and invited governments, international organizations and NGOs to organize activities designed to raise public awareness of the problem on that day.

This year, Clitoraid has decided to participate in this initiative by promoting a campaign called “Stop Violence Against Women: Donate to Restore a Clitoris! ». By sharing victim’s personal testimonials, we hope to raise awareness about the plight of FGM victims.

Our aim is to build a dedicated hospital in Burkina Faso specifically to offer free reconstructive surgery for free to return the function of the clitoris and allow the return of both dignity and pleasure for FGM victims. The hospital also has a place where women can meet and celebrate together regularly, to develop solidarity and support pre and post operatively, and follow courses of self pleasure so as to learn how to use their newly operated organ. They will also be encouraged to follow enterprise and business management to gain financial independence so as to empower them to change themselves, their community and their culture.

To promote our initiative, we are launching an action on our Facebook page (Clitoraid-non profit) as well as our website

Help us make the Pleasure Hospital become Reality!
Thank you J
